sixth release of NYC's Lucky Kitchen is a single with a song each by
Aerospace Soundwise, Tom Steinle,
Alejandro & Underwood, Suetsu,
and Jansky Noise, and a live piece with all of them
together on the flip side.
Lucky Kitchen records are not meant to have 'highlights' or 'fave cuts'. They are kind of like audio sculptures that provide statements when digested as a whole.
On this single, each side works as a statement. The individual pieces on the A-side work well together, and the live piece on the flip is excellent.
I like this single best out of all Lucky Kitchen releases because it makes its statement succinctly in 2 digestible chunks.
