"Reissue of this particular full length (previously on CD on HOR Music Germany, Vroom Sound in Japan), the second by this particular side project of the Russian synth group Messer Für Frau Müller, featuring Oleg Gitarkin (the other MFFM member is Oleg Kostrow). There's a nice Russian blurb that's been translated into English that goes "Gitarkin's solo project Messer Chups has recorded album Miss Libido 2000, issued by young Russian-German label Solnze Records. Gitarkin can sample everything, whether it be Trashmen's hit 'Surfing Bird' or song of weeds from cartoon Tchudesnitsa. Sampling is lead up to the point of irrationality -- not kind of theft, but noble cleptomania. Music of mad cucumbers, absolutely devilish easy listening. A bit eclectic, it reminds, however, not essentially eggheaded John Zorn, but spontaneity of early Frank Zappa. It's theory. In practice western competitors of Messer Chups are Tipsy, Arling and Cameron and some other. Though, for this purpose they need hardly to be liberated." There you go.
